Nominate a Great Server for the 2012 APTA Service Award
February 29, 2012
The APTA created the APTA Service Award to recognize people who have made invaluable contributions to platform tennis. Introduced in 2009, the Service Award was at first voted on by the APTA board. (Only one award is given each year.) The first two recipients were Mark Fischl and Bill O’Brien for their high-level contribution to the sport and the growth of the game.

1) Volunteerism without any expectation of a personal return.
2) Efforts that are transformative to the sport and/or the surrounding community.
3) Efforts that have a sustained impact over a period of years.
