For the third year, George Hamilton and YYR Productions was hired by the Platform Tennis Museum and Hall of Fame to create a video of the APTA Junior Nationals. Delaney & Ross Set a New Juniors Record

Chatham Residents Nicki Ross and Corey Delaney defeated Phoebe Wilks and Ariana Ross of New Canaan Ct. 6-2, 6-3 to win the 2011 Girls 18 and Under Junior National Platform Tennis Title. Delaney and Ross played a total of 88 games in ten matches beginning at 12 noon and ending at 6:30 pm at Waveny Lodge, a beautiful, new public Platform Tennis facility in New Canaan Ct. A lively and enthusiastic crowd of Platform Tennis fans enjoyed a well played final with many long and exciting points. With the victory Ross and Delaney are the only team ever (boys or girls) to win 5 Junior National Titles and they are also the first team to win 3 consecutive 18 and under titles.
The annual tournament is sponsored by the American Platform Tennis Association (APTA) and was hosted by the Fairfield County Platform Tennis League and the Town of New Canaan. This year over 228 junior players ranging from 8 to 18 from Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut competed in the day long event.
