2011 Arapahoe Invitational

The Arapahoe Tennis Club hosted an impressive 110 participants for this year's Arapahoe Invitational, including players from New York, Toronto, Cincinnati, Bozeman, San Francisco, Chicago and Boulder. The fantastic turnout has tournament director Cary Hodges already looking at next year's schedule to work out how to best accommodate the numbers with the available courts.

You may not automatically think of Colorado when you think of platform tennis, but you should. The Arapahoe Tennis Club has been holding platform tennis tournaments since the 60s. Take a look at the photograph of the winner listings starting in 1965.
