Delay of Game - Tornado at Tar Heel Men’s

While our sport is traditionally played outdoors during winter in almost any weather, this tournament featured a 30-minute break when tornado warning sirens sounded and large trees bent in a disturbing manner. Three days after having near zero temperatures, we had torrential on-and-off rain, and temps reaching almost 70 degrees.

The paddle was a bit more predictable—everyone had a great time.
