Blake Gayle and Peyton Lawson Repeat Stomp Out at Tar Heel Mens

Blake Gayle and Peyton Lawson of Richmond,VA defended their Tar Heel Viking PCQ title, beating John Morris of Charlotte, NC and Mike Watson of Winston-Salem, NC in a straight set final. The new Richmond team of Country Club of Virginia pros, Matt Hane and Rob Oakes, are very quickly picking up paddle experience and should be a force to be reckoned with next year. They lost very close 7-5 in the third set battles in the semis to Morris/Watson and in the 3rd Place Playoff to Greg Archer/Rich Green (Chapel Hill).
