Bobo Delaney and John Milbank Win War at the Shore

Bobo Delaney and John Milbank won the War at the Shore Mixed tournament beating Liz Jaffe and Christian Guevara in the final, 6-3, 6-4. Delany and Milbank played great! They beat Bill Kloss and Maria Manley in the semi-final. Bob Winchester and Judy Takach lost to Jaffe and Guevara in the other semi- final. Milbank moved on the court flawlessly and Guevara probably hit the hardest ball in recent memory. Guevara is new to the game, but you will likely hear more from him in the near future. Overall, there was lots of skill. The ladies were steady as always.

The weather was great, the matches were really competitive, with no blow outs. It was a great way to start off the 2013-2014 platform tennis season.
