Scott Falatek and Vlatko Najdek Take the PA Men’s States

Philadelphia, PA

It was a great weekend for platform tennis at the PA States. Lots of President Cup points were on the line and in the end, the two top seeds prevailed into the finals on Sunday.

Unfortunately for Simon Peppiatt and Greg Eger, the top seeded team of Scott Falatek and Vlatko Najdek were in top form and jumped out winning the first 10 games of the match. The points were still fun to watch for the crowd that stayed well into the afternoon on Sunday.

The PA States also featured a technology breakthrough for the sport—a live scoreboard that reflected the final score of 6-0, 6-2. No more will any spectator be asking “What's the score?” Look for this technology at other events in the Philly Area.

Andrew Sorrentino and his team did a tremendous job pulling it all together (including the live scoreboard). The party on Saturday featured lots of great food and dancing and even a cartwheel or two. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Valentine’s Day at the Philly Open. Prize money and top talent—what’s not to love?
