Over 60 Play in First Bronxville Junior Event

The first annual Bronxville Junior Open welcomed 62 players, who combined for two age groups. The 12s Boys welcomed a few 10s teams who competed well. The 15s Boys was chockful of great players. Both finals went to three sets.

Tournament Directors Nathan LeFevre (Bronxville Field Club) and Mark Parsons (Siwanoy Country Club) are hoping for an even bigger draw next year. Parsons commented on the 15s Boys final, “It was an INSANE match. It lasted over 2.5 hours.” Congratulations to all the contenders and thanks to all the parents and fans who cheered on the players.

15s Boys: Robbie Cruikshank/Michael Miller def. Joe Delany and Josh Frumin, 2-6, 6-4, 7-6
Third/Fourth Place: Kyle Barry/Ethan Fabro and George Bancroft/Connor Zaminski
