APTA Regions Cup - Thursday Event Only

Here are the rules.

Acceptance for Thursday play

1) Players competing in Nationals will be admitted first
2) Players Ranked in the top 150 individually can sign up for Thursday only and will be admitted until full
3) The maximum amount of players is 134 for Men and 134 for Women

Team Allocation

After the entry deadline and all competitors have been admitted into Thursday play, they will fill teams based on the following order

1) The highest ranked players will be assigned spots on Fulton(Top 30) and Baird Cup(Top 15 US Born and Top 15 World Born)
2) Based on total remaining signups, team sizes will be set based on the following
97-104 = 12-13 Players Per Team
89-96 = 11-12 Players Per Team
81-88 = 10-11 Players Per Team
73-80 = 9-10 Players Per Team
65-72 = 8-9 Players Per Team
3) The highest ranked players will be assigned to their home region based on Players Per Team Quota
4) Any Team that is not able to fill their Region's assigned quota will have the remaining overflow players from other regions added to their team in a balanced manner.
