Mike O’Donnell and Walter Beatty Capture APTA Men’s 145+ Nationals
March 19, 2014
Scarborough, NY
Mike O’Donnell won his ninth APTA title, and Walter Beatty his first, at this season’s APTA Men’s 145+ Nationals. (O’Donnell then went on to take gold at the APTA Men’s 70+ Nationals later that weekend.) Finalists Roy Anderson and Sig Buchmayer unfortunately had to retire due to injury, right when things were getting interesting. The final score was 6-3, 4-4, (inj. ret).
Thanks to Rich Lombard, who, as usual, put on a fun-filled event.
