Mike Hanna and Jim Bishop Take the APTA Men’s 70+ Nationals Crown

It was a pretty good weekend for Mike Hanna and his partners. On Friday, Hanna won the 145s with Mike O’Donnell and on Sunday he won the 70+ with Jim Bishop.

Solid play by Hanna and timely winning drives by Bishop tilted the court in their favor and Hanna and Bishop defeated Walter Beatty and Jerry Whitlock in two sets. Hanna of Rochester, NY, now has five APTA gold medals and Bishop of Geneva, IL, owns two. The two won the Men’s 65+ trophy together five years ago.
