THREEPEAT! Ron Erskine and Mike Gillespie Own the APTA Men’s 50+ National Championship

The medal case is full! Ron Erskine and Mike Gillespie once again defende their APTA Men’s 50+ Nationals title. Ed Gartner and John Shehadi kept it close, but Erskine and Gillespie closed out the second set at 7-5. The semifinals had the top four seeds vying for the crown. Gartner and Shehadi fought off Rusty Wright and Fritz Odenbach, 7-5, 3-6, 6-0, while Erskine and Gillespie stopped Mike Atkinson and Steve Godiksen, 6-3, 6-3.
