Florentina Hanisch and Martin Bostrom swept the APTA Mixed Nationals titles last weekend, winning both the Husband/Wife and Mixed National Championships. They vanquished several very formidable opponents on their way to their first Husband/Wife title, beating two-time defending champions Alison and Adam Morgan in the semifinals, and three-time Husband/Wife Champions Kerri Delmonico and Mike Stulac in the finals.

The Mixed Nationals draw was also very strong this year, but Hanisch/Bostrom were up to the challenge. In the quarterfinals, they lost the first set to Delmonico/Stulac, but came back to win the rematch with the Husband/Wife finalists. After upsetting last year’s champs, Drew Broderick and Gabriela Niculescu in a semifinal three-setter, Hanisch/Bostrom knocked out three-time Mixed Nationals Champions Roxy Enica and Juan Arraya in the finals.
