Saturday was a great day at Englewood Field Club. We had a beautiful day with high-level competition. When the smoke cleared, Cynthia Dardis and Michael Atkinson defeated Amy and Chris Shay, 6-3, 6-4, in a spirited final. The after-tournament party roared on well into the evening behind the rally cry of “Rosé all day.” Some of the players handled a wine bottle as well as they did a paddle.
