In the first of two Region 1 PCQs, the seedings held and top seeded Maria Manley and Pam Ruoff defeated the second seeds Jill Feher and Stacie Stephens in the finals.
Manley and Ruoff defeated Carolyn Cutler and Carrie Rabuse in the one semifinal, and in the other half of the draw, Feher and Stephens took out ITF Hall of Famer Gigi Fernandez and Mary Ellen O’Mahoney.
