Du Randt-Parsons Repeat At The UBS & Viking Boston Open

Congratulations to Johan du Randt and Mark Parsons for winning the UBS & Viking Boston Open.

Johan du Randt and Mark Parsons ran through the draw this year, only losing one set to Juan Arraya and Lennart Jonason in the semifinals, before facing Drew Broderick and Jared Palmer in the final. Broderick and Palmer were rather stellar, themselves, only losing ten games before the final. In the end, the National champions stayed true to form, winning 6-2, 6-3. This is du Randt’s fifth title at the tournament. Thanks to all the players for their contribution to Good Sports, which provides athletic equipment to disadvantaged young people nationwide. The hut managers’ work is always appreciated, as well. And finally, thanks very much to tournament sponsor UBS, a financial services corporation, for their generous support.
