It was a great day of paddle at the Boulder Older this year, starting off with a beautiful sunrise and warm conditions at the Meadows Club in Boulder, Colorado. In the Open bracket, we had an all Meadows finals with Curt Corrigan and Pete Walters winning big over Mike Small and Jim Bray, 6-1, 6-2, for the championship. Small and Bray didn't have an answer for this dynamic duo as Corrigan and Walters bring years of experience as doubles partners to the grit.

Congrats to Pete Kelley and Jay Schwab for taking home the trophy in the "A" bracket against Jon Hinebauch and Eamonn McNaughton, with a solid 6-4, 6-3, win. When you rate age to athleticism, Kelley is second to none. At 81 years young, his drive will eat up the best serves out there. His partner Schwab is a beautiful player from the birth land - Scarsdale, New York.

Thanks to all the players and fans that came out to support this growing sport here in the Rockies. Come join us for the Boulder Open, December 14th and 15th.
