Jim Bray and Curt Corrigan Boulder Older A Champs

The 16th annual Boulder Older 90+ tournament was a great success with the largest draw to date. In the A bracket, fierce competition led to a finals battle between two-time champions Andrew Green and Ed Hayes versus The Meadows Club's own Jim Bray and Curt Corrigan. Green/Hayes, looking to three-peat, took it to them early and pulled out the first set. Bray/Corrigan settled in and took the second set with ease. Going into the third set, Bray/Corrigan worked their magic and put a stop to the domination of the Denver Duo to take the win.

 

Ian Stone and Jake Thamm Best at BO Bs

In the B bracket, we had sensei, Ian Stone, take Jake Thamm under his wing and guide him to the finals against Denverites Tim Griggs and Chad Schott. Griggs/Schott didn't have an answer to the unwavering team of Stone/Thamm as they took the match in straight sets.
