Camp Birch Hill Hosts Men and Mixed

The Camp Birch Hill Open was hosted in beautiful New Durham, New Hampshire on October 23rd & 24th by Rich Morell camp owner & hands-on director.

The Men’s draw featured past, current and future paddle greats from Region II. In one semi-final Matt Dana & Jeff Morton defeated the up and coming team of Garrett Gates & Karl Gregor (61, 64). In the other semi-final Rob Pease & Dan McCormick defeated Greg Bennett & Henri Beckett (who flew in from Nashville) in a very competitive match (64, 26, 64).

In the Main draw finals Matt & Jeff's dazzling array of kick serves kept Rob & Dan off balance throughout the finals. Matt Dana & Jeff Morton defeated Rob Pease & Dan McCormick (75, 62). In the consolation finals Garrett Gates & Karl Gregor defeated the Green MountainTeam of Todd Tyson & Rob Parker (63, 64).

The Mixed Doubles draw was every bit as competitive as the Men’s. In the main draw finals the mother/son team of Diane & Dave Tucker defeated Jan & Chuck Auger (67, 75, 11-9). Reprieve champions Nindy Pike & Ryan Adomonis defeated Mary & Jeff Petry (76, 62). In the consolations finals Andrea Cziadosz & Ryan Sideman defeated Deb & Dan O’Connor (64, 62).
