Karen Crick and Nan Miller Triumph at OP Ladies Paddle Classic

With the snow still melting from Wednesday's storm, Olde Providence Racquet Club welcomed nine teams with blue skies and sixty degrees for the third annual OP Ladies Paddle Classic. The field featured seven local teams and players from Maryland, California, and Cleveland.

For the first time in the tournament’s brief history, Charlotte teams took the top three spots. In the final, Karen Crick and Nan Miller defeated Heather Shaw and Janet Steyl in an entertaining three-set match. Support for the tournament from the OPRC membership was outstanding as usual.
