Women's Results

Wendy Bermingham/Kathleen Parker Repeat at Colorado State Open

Kathleen Parker and Wendy Bermingham held off Jill Isenhart and Anne Lehigh, 6-3, 7-6, to repeat as Colorado State Champions. In the Women’s Bs, 25 teams competed for the title. Kristi Emerson and Katie Ozimek brought some sunshine to the finals, defeating Ellie Morris and Madsie Osborne in a battle, 6-3, 6-7, 7-6.

TD Cary Hodges reported, “Bermingham/Parker got one of their cups swiped by Eag and Kathy who had their own thoughts on how to use the prize wisely.” Thanks to Cary Hodges and the volunteers and staff at Denver Country Club and area clubs for running a large and fun tournament.

Cary Hodges and Tim Kofol Capture Colorado State Men’s

A full 16-team draw came to play in Denver. Champions Cary Hodges and Tim Kofol defeated Andrew Green and Matt Kranich, 6-3, 6-3. In the Men’s B, 20 teams fought for the cup. APTA Volunteer of the Month Steve Filmer and Pete Walters held off David Bushing and Ian Stone, 7-5, 6-4.
