Dave Bozentka and Jeff Lyon Win Wilmington Way Way Over 50

The 17th annual Wilmington Way Way Over 50 tournament was held December 8th under sunny skies (a little too blindingly sunny during the first round). Greenville Country Club and Wilmington Country Club again hosted 32 players. In the final, Dave Bozentka and Jeff Lyon defeated Bob Carlson and Chip Hauver.

For the first time the event was held under the auspices of the Brandywine Valley Platform Tennis Foundation, a recently created 501c-3 corporation dedicated to promoting this great sport in the Brandywine River Valley.

Main Draw: Dave Bozentka/Jeff Lyon def. Bob Carlson and Chip Hauver
Reprieve: John Goodridge/Doug Mainwaring def. Tim Brooke/Pete Pajawka
Consolation: Bob Clayton/Tad Stellman def. Dave Levine/Gary Shank
Gut Bucket: Brian Lemoine/John Stanzione def. Eric Christopher/Mike Wingate
