Tim Sternberg and Ben Wauters Above Average at Greater New Haven Average Joe

Ten teams competed in New Haven over the weekend, in a uniquely formatted tournament. First, a round robin of one-set matches took place. Then, the teams were seeded based on the round robin results and played a single elimination tourney.

The team of Tim Sternberg and Ben Wauters from Newport, Rhode Island, outlasted locals Michael Loyd and Todd Pozefsky in three sets.
