The players had a great time on Friday. Greenwich Country Club, which hosted an excellent luncheon, and Field Club of Greenwich are beautiful facilities and fantastic hosts every year for the Jane Fleming tournament. The weather could not have been nicer and all of the women who played were equally as nice. Teams came from as far away as Pennsylvania and New Jersey to compete. The 16-team tournament filled up faster than ever this year and there was even a waiting list.

Congratulations to winners Eileen Allers and Susan Powell, who fended off the first seeds Colleen Baker and Kori Lannon in the quarterfinals. Thank you to all the players, Tournament Director Nick Bergman, and the clubs and staff for a wonderful day.
