Melnikoff and Von Kennel Take Lake Invitational

Indian Trail Club Platform Tennis/Pickleball Director Greg O’Neil writes: The 2023 Lake Invitational was held this past Friday. Perfect playing conditions, exceptional athleticism, brilliant shot-making, and pure grit made for an exciting day of paddle at Indian Trail Club. One team shy of a 32-team draw, matches were played at surrounding area clubs throughout the morning and early afternoon. In the final, Morgan Melnikoff and Allie Von Kennel took top honors against Anna Buiukian and Vanessa Petrini in a long, hard-fought three-setter, 5-7, 7-6, 6-3.

A special thank you to David Feher (North Jersey Country Club), Vanessa Petrini (Lake Valhalla Club), and Matt Fawcett (Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club) for graciously lending us courts and facilities. Last but certainly not least, thank you hut commanders!
