Over $11,000 raised to benefit Oasis

On Tuesday, October 1, Lobs for Love held their 11th annual paddle tennis tournament. The event benefits Oasis – A Haven for Women and Children, a nonprofit organization serving im-poverished women and children in Paterson, NJ. The event was sold out with 64 paddle players participating. The matches were held at the Brookside Racquet & Swim Club (Allendale) and Indian Trail Club (Franklin Lakes). Once the early rounds were complete, all players gathered at Brookside where they enjoyed laughs, lunch, a tricky tray extravaganza, and shopping with ven-dors. Jen Brady, Oasis Executive Director, spoke at the event and provided a brief overview of what OASIS provides the Paterson community.

Patty Cromie and JoAnn Irwin won the championship and Charann Claire and Michelle Ring were runner ups. Thank you to all the participants. We are proud to announce that the event raised more than $11,000 to benefit Oasis - A Haven for Women and Children.
