Kathleen Buckley and Amy Hutter are Winners at New England Women’s PCQ

It was another great tournament for the team of Paula Fazli and Carolyn McCoy who are getting stronger every year they play at Myopia's New England PCQ event. As most teams will attest, the Fazli/McCoy team work tremendously hard during the season on the practice court and derserve their great result in this years tournament. (finalists at right)

However, it was the offensive play from Amy Hutter and Kathleen Buckley that proved to be too strong this year in what was yet again another exciting final at Myopia. Almost every other tournament player huddled inside Myopia's "Taj Mahut" of paddle huts for this final match, enjoying their well deserved cocktails and of course an unbeatable fire place!

The play was a mix of steady lobs and overheads, followed by a quick change of pace at an instance, as the Buckley/Hutter team took the return of serve and blitzing game to new heights.

Shaking hands, it left the paddle hut huddlers dazed as to which team actually won the match, a true sign of a worthy final match up. Congratulations to our 2013 Champions Kathleen Buckley and Amy Hutter and our Finalist's Paula Fazli and Carolyn McCoy. The final score 6-4 6-2 once again did not do this match justice.
