Steve DeRose and Jon Lubow Win the 2017 Philly Cricket Invitational

With only a few weeks until Philadelphia hosts the APTA Nationals, the city of brotherly love welcomed top men's players from around the country for the Philly Cricket Invitational. This 32 team, one-day event enjoyed high temperatures and bright, sunny skies as well as tremendous shot making and high level competitive play. Philadelphia Cricket Club along with Huntingdon Valley Country Club and Manufacturer's Golf Club hosted all the matches and many thanks to tournament director Scott Falatek and all the volunteers who helped make the event a huge success.

Ultimately, the finalists put on a great show for the crowd of spectators as Steve DeRose and John Lubow proved too strong for finalists Andrea Bonfigli and Victor Vidal, winning 6-2, 6-1.
