First South of Boston Championships Wrap Up Season

2018 SOB MensMEN’S
The first ever S.o.B. championships are in the books. For the Men's B on Saturday, April 28, we had a 16-team draw with players from Chicago, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, and, of course, Massachusetts. The weather was a sunny 75 for the day. In the main draw, the number one seeds, from Massachusetts, Christian Coley and Todd Etna, beat the number four seeds, from Vermont, Julian Camacho and Dave Barlow, 6-4, 6-3.

RESULTS:
Main Draw: Christian Coley/Todd Etna def. Dave Barlow/Julian Camacho, 6-4, 6-3
Quarterfinal Reprieve: Alex Boyd/Bill Williams def. Ned Demong/Nick Warendorf 
Reprieve: Jim Mather/Rob Zeller

2018 SOB MixedMIXED
There was a full 16-team draw for the mixed doubles on Sunday. In typical New England fashion, the weather turned to the 50s with rain in the morning but cleared up nicely for the afternoon semis and finals. Our number one and number two seeds won close semifinal matches to make it through. Christie Domoracki and Todd Carpenter won a great three-set match against Alyce Dwyer and Dan Hansen, 6-7, 6-3, 6-2.
