Tournament Director Jerry Albrikes wrote: With 24 teams competing on a sunny Saturday at the Essex Platform Tennis Club and Stonington Community Center. the team standing at the end were the top seeds and nationally ranked players Dan Hansen and Adam Mirsky.

During times like these it was an amazing turnout of talented veterans as well as newcomers from both the Essex and COMO clubs. The Shoreline Classic has been going on for many years and usually after Nationals. This year with Nationals being pushed back we were able to get our biggest field to date.

The final match pitted the top two seeds going against each other. Dan Hansen and Adam Mirsky defeating Jerry Albrikes (Como Director) and Jeff Morneau by a score of 4-6, 6-4, 6-1.

A special thanks to our monitors: Leslie Haskins, injured Nick Raho and Mark Scott, Essex Platform Club and president Todd Pozesky, lunch provider David Eck (Dog Watch Cafe), and prizes from Max LePivert and Clark Trophies.
