Jolene Sutter, fresh off her quarter reprieve win Friday at the Long Island Invitational (with Roopali Hall), kept things rolling by winning the Shoreline PCQ (with Mary Truslow) the following day. Play started at 8:30AM and the last match (which was the consolation final) finished at 5:15PM. With 10 teams in the draw, that should give you some idea of the competitiveness of many of the matches. Kudos to Nancy Nunes and Holly Stowe who played virtually all day. Their first three matches were three-setters, two of which included a tiebreak set. Thus, the consolation reprieve final, the fifth match for both teams, was settled by a flip of a coin.
