Scott Estes/Peter Gruenberg Super at Sound Shore Men’s 125s

 In one of the best 24-team draws ever seen here, the 125s (minimum total of team’s ages) had four very strong teams, Scott Estes/Peter Gruenberg, Mike Gillespie/Mike O’Donnell, Ivan Harlow/Fritz Odenbach, and Steve Griggs/Jim Kaufman. The seeding by Son and blessed by Father was spot on. Both semis were three setters and so was the final, where Estes/Gruenberg emerged victorious over Gillespie/ODonnell, 6-3, 3-6, [10-3]. Estes/Gruenberg barely got by Griggs/Kaufman in the semis as they were down 0-4 in the tiebreaker before pulling it out at 10-7. There was some really excellent play to watch.
