February 1 was a beautiful overcast day for Pittsburgh paddle as 128 players took to the courts in the 18th Three Rivers Championships. In the main draw, seven of the top eight seeds advanced to the quarterfinals (with the ninth seeded team of Greg Green and Mike McLaughlin recording the only upset by defeating the eighth seeded team (Erik Johnson and Matt Sowa). In the quarters, there was one seeding upset when Allan Quackenbush and Chris Catanese (6)) defeated the Andrew Girard and Dean Gannon (3) to advance to the semifinals. The top two seeds prevailed in their semifinal matches—Wayne Dollard/Jarod Medvetz over Andrew Ong/David Nicholson and Adam Blasinsky/Wilson Pyle over A Quackenbush/Chris Catanese. In the finals, Dollard/Medvetz defeated Blasinsky/Pyle, 6-4, 6-3, to win the 2020 Three Rivers Championships.
