2021 Board Member, Leslie Parsons (Secretary)

Leslie Parsons

Leslie was born and raised in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where she participated in many different youth sports and activities. She attended Amherst College and Boston College Law School and, after working as a lawyer for a few years, left the workforce to be a stay-at-home mom to her five children. Shortly after moving to the Chicago area 25 years ago, she was introduced to the sport of paddle tennis and immediately developed a love for the game.

She has served as a team captain, as series facilitator, as the North Shore Women’s Platform Tennis League treasurer, and is currently serving as the NSWPTL president. She has welcomed the challenge of serving in all these roles for the opportunity to contribute to the sport which provides so much to the women in the paddle community—physical and mental exercise, laughter, camaraderie, and friendship. Leslie loves that this unique sport offers the chance for competitive competition for women of all ages and all levels of ability. She looks forward to continuing to help promote and build this special game. Leslie is very much looking forward to the joining the APTA Board and serving on the PTI Tournament Committee.
