Heather Prop Wins Charlotte Lee Sportsmanship AwardMarch 14, 2013
Franklin Lakes, NJ

Aila Main, APTA Women’s Player’s Committee Chair, introduced the award at the 2013 APTA Nationals Tournament.

"This year the APTA resurrected the Charlotte Lee Sportsmanship Award, which has not been given out since 1991. The award will be given yearly to the woman who displays the most sportsmanlike conduct on and off the court during the season. There is no doubt that this year's winner is worthy of such an honor. Our recipient is as gracious on the court as she is off it. Winning or losing, her unfailingly positive attitude never wavers. It is with great pleasure that Rob Coster, President of the APTA, and I give this award to one of the classiest women we have ever met, Heather Prop."
