Brock Borman Will Be Missed

August 2, 2021
Boulder, Co

From Ian Hintz

Brock Borman from Boulder, Colorado lost his life in a car accident on July 26, 2021. Brock was an ambassador, friend, and fixture in the Colorado paddle community. He was first introduced to paddle in the late 1990s when teaching tennis on the North Shore of Chicago. Shortly after moving to Colorado in the early 2000s, he became actively involved in coaching, playing, and growing platform tennis. Brock was the co-owner (with Ian Hintz) of Denver's first public-access courts at Meadow Creek Tennis & Fitness Club. Brock brought a wonderful sense of humor, irreverence, and energy to everything in life. He had so many passions, but he deeply loved paddle and tennis; he was a highly regarded coach and professional in both sports. We've lost a great human and a better pal—Brock will be sorely missed. Contact paddle@meadowcreektennis.com if needed.

The APTA sends our condolences to the family and friends of Brock Borman. For a complete obituary on Brock and his friend David Vollmar, see LINK HERE
