APTA Champs Sarah DanzigSARAH PALFREY DANZIG
TENNIS-A member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Danzig amassed an astounding number of major championships, winning 18 major singles titles and 15 major doubles and mixed doubles championships.
PT-Danzig won the APTA Mixed Doubles title in 1947 with Elwood Cooke, the second of her three husbands.

HERB FITZ GIBBON
TENNIS-Fitz Gibbon played in all of the Grand Slam tennis tournaments, his best singles result coming at the French Open where he reached the 4th round in 1968.
PT-He won the APTA National Championships in 1974 with John Beck, and in 1977 and 1978 with Hank Irvine. In 1975 and 1976 Fitz Gibbon won the mixed with Mrs. Ronald DeBree. He was inducted into the Platform Tennis Hall of Fame in 2007.

HANK IRVINE
TENNIS-Irvine not only reached the second round of Wimbledon on 1972, losing to the eventual champion, Stan Smith, he played on the Rhodesian National Field Hockey Team and was a world ranked squash player. 
PT-Irvine won the APTA National Championship in 1977 and 1978 with Herb Fitz Gibbon and in 1986 and 1987 with Greg Moore. He is one of only five men to win it four or more times.  He was inducted in to the Platform Tennis Hall of Fame in 1996.

CLARK GRAEBNER
TENNIS-A finalist at the 1967 US Open, Clark Graebner also reached the 4th round or better at each of the other three majors. He and Arthur Ashe led the US to Davis Cup victory in 1968. 
PT-In 1979, Graebner won the APTA National Championships with Doug Russell.
