The APTA Welcomes Kathy Cramer
Dear Friends of Jr. Platform Tennis,
It gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of Kathy Cramer to the newly created position of APTA Jr. Tour Coordinator. She is very excited to join our team and will begin her duties officially on October 1, 2013.
The expansion of the APTA Jr. Platform Tennis Tour in recent years and the new formalized marketing partnership with Viking Athletics make this an excellent time to bring on an individual with Kathy’s talents, experience, and passion for our game. Kathy will work closely with the Tournament Directors, Viking, and the APTA Board to ensure that the numerous events, Jr. Nationals, and the year-end ranking process all run as efficiently as possible.
As a mother of three young boys, who are avid platform tennis players themselves, Kathy brings her technology and teaching backgrounds, along with plenty of energy and creativity to this new position. Kathy said, “I am excited to utilize my strong organizational skills, as well as my enthusiasm for platform tennis, to build upon the tremendous momentum we have seen in the juniors. I can’t wait to get started.”
We are fortunate to have Kathy join us in this important new role. Please join me in welcoming her to the APTA Jr. Tour team.
