APTA Grant Recipient York Paddle Tennis Club Adds New Court

With help from the APTA “Grow the Game” grant program and generous donations from members, the York Paddle Tennis Club added a second court onto their grounds in November. The club held an open house to entice new members. Roving area pro Dan McCormick ran a few clinics this past December to increase awareness of the improvements at the club. Membership has grown to 55 players over the past five years and more are always wanted and welcome.

Ladies night, men’s night, and drop-in play days all have increased capacity now, and the community continues to encourage new players to come see what the fun is all about. For more information, go to http://yorkpaddletennisclub.org/.
