First annual Quechee/Norwich Challenge

A happy group of paddle players participated in the first annual Quechee/Norwich Challenge. Each club entered two teams for women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles.

Norwich won the bragging rights for the year. The new kids on the block (Quechee) look forward to the rematch next year. Quechee put in two new courts in 2013 and has been building its base of mostly tennis/squash/pickleball/racquetball/and “anyball” converts to the game of platform tennis.

Norwich Racquet Club is a long-established, year-round facility with two paddle courts and two clay tennis courts. In addition to the “Challenge,” the two clubs co-hosted the APTA Green Mountain Open in the fall.
