WWPPTA 45/55s Tournament Was a Grand Success

By all accounts the WWPPTA (Women’s West Penn Paddle Tennis Association) 45/55s tournament run by the Sewickley YMCA teams was a grand success. The support from the Ladies league was exciting- 32 teams in the 45s and 15 in the 55s. Tournament director Christi Hays, YMCA Paddle Facilitator praised her committee: “The rave reviews are still coming in about the 45/55s tourney that we all ran yesterday. It was first class all across the board- the hut food, the lunch, the favors, the hut monitors- and the much appreciated Finals party. I can't thank you enough for coming through in typical Y fashion- you should be proud! I was very pleased and proud with how it all went. Thank you again for helping me throw a spectacular event- now on to the Nationals!”
