Bev Dyminski and Sky Kalkman Hit it Big at New York Mixed

Top seeds Bev Dyminski and Sky Kalkman held off Rita and Rich Kladstrup, 7-6, 6-2, to win one of the first tournaments of 2015. Both finalists had huge battles in the semifinals. Sandra and Fritz Odenbach fought the good fight, but the Kladstrups prevailed in three sets, 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (10-8). The winners also took three sets to win their semifinal round against Mandy Odenbach Newell and Jeff Kotalik, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5. While we didn’t get any details of the after-party, with the Odenbach’s in charge you can only guess at how much fun everyone had.
