Preseason Paddle Camp in Cincinnati

For the past eleven years, the Midwest Platform Tennis Camp has signaled the imminent return of paddle season to the Cincinnati area. This year, the camp ran from September 19-28 at the Hyde Park Country Club and Four Bridges Country Club.

The camp comes at a perfect time to harness all the excitement around the beginning of a new season. As participant Denise Bosma enthused, “The camp is a great way to kick-off the platform tennis season in Cincinnati, Ohio!"

This year, the camp’s theme was “It Takes Two,“ and was taught and hosted by local paddle pros Heather Prop, Nancy Budde, Ann Turner, Lynne Schneebeck, and Tracy Glassmeyer. During two weeks of day and evening sessions, the pros offered instruction and fun for all levels of ability. Participants had ample opportunities to strengthen all areas of their game, prepare for the competitive season ahead, and have a lot of fun in the process.
