Baseline Tennis Seeking a Platform Director/Tennis Professional

Baseline Tennis is currently searching for a Platform Director for multiple growing country club programs in the metropolitan Detroit area. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, service driven, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher. Must have a background working with juniors and adults in both tennis and platform and be a team leader. Director will be responsible for management of Platform programs including private instruction, group clinics, special events, leagues and overall growth of platform throughout the company.

While the focus of this position is Platform Tennis it is expected that the candidate will also teach tennis year round in order to both supplement their income and support the overall programming. We currently manage two facilities with growing platform programs and have a third facility planning to begin construction of four new courts and a warming hut in the next few weeks.

PPTA, USPTA Elite certification and 4.5 minimum level of play preferred. APTA experience, pro shop/stringing, paddle court maintenance, and clay court maintenance experience a plus. S/he must be able to create and implement challenging programs as well as manage mixers, socials and special events. Pay commensurate with experience and ability and includes salary, hourly and commission. Health insurance and simple IRA available for full time employees. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
