Just 38 months after the first six platform tennis courts went in, The Villages in Florida, added another half dozen. Home of the 2013 Mixed 60+ Nationals, The Villages is a sprawling development with recreational facilities galore. The six new courts are located in another area of the complex, awaiting the finishing touches on the recreational center still under construction.  The two live oaks trees shown are probably are older than platform tennis itself, but new palm trees are slated for planting soon.
