Cool Tournament at The “Hot” Villages

The Florida hotbed for platform tennis, The Villages, ran a fun club tournament, under the twinkling eye of Coach Russ Jones. President Bob Wiltman did a great job of seeding 48 players on A, B and C skill levels. The winning team captured the title by only one game! The courts were buzzing with action at all levels of play.

Bob also ordered super weather for the four-hour event, which attracted many spectators. The other winner was the "B" team! Congrats to: B1 Bashaw/Weil; B2 Tucman/Fedish; B3 Bryan/Cecil; B4 Majoras/Mercier; B5 B. Wahrenburg/Thompson; and B6 Patterson/McCramer.
