Charlotte Racquet Club North is searching for a Head Racquets Professional. USPTA/PPTA Platform certification preferred.
Management duties to include design and oversight of all aspects of our new platform tennis program. Additional management duties will include growing the adult tennis program, including teaching programs, socials, special events, pickleball, and building a strong private lesson program. Teaching duties will include acting as lead pro for platform tennis, teaching adult tennis clinics and lessons, and being involved in our junior development program. The Head Racquets Professional is expected to teach a minimum of 30+ hrs/week of combined programs and lessons. Compensation package to include base salary, bonus potential, & hourly rate for camps, clinics, and lessons. Strong earning potential for an outgoing professional with good interpersonal skills. Communication skills and organization are a must. About Charlotte Racquet Club North: The club features 14 (12 clay & 2 hard) lighted tennis courts, 2 brand new lighted platform tennis courts to be ready for the fall, a large clubhouse with wraparound porch overlooking all the courts, fitness facility, and a 6 lane 25 yard seasonal pool facility with water slide and water features. The club currently has over 400 members, 40+ USTA and interclub league teams throughout the year, and a quickly growing teaching program. Staff consists of 4 full time coaches and a fitness coach. New ownership in 2016 (2012 USPTA/Middle States Pro of the Year) has invested over $300,000 on improvements in the past year. The club is located in a fantastic racquet sports market and is one of the five fastest growing areas of the country.
