Connie Jones and Carrie Rabuse Tops at 125+ Women’s Nationals

The first Friday in November brought great weather for the Masters 125+ Women’s Nationals at Beacon Hill Club in Summit, New Jersey. Eight teams gathered to compete for the title. The seeded teams of Louise Cash and Hall-of-Famer Bobo Delaney and Jackie Cameron and Cynthia Dardis made it to the semifinals unscathed. However, both teams would be upset in their semifinal match ups. Connie Jones and Carrie Rabuse persevered in a three-set battle over Abigail Burke and Joanna Irwin, 6-3, 2-6, 6-3, to win the championship.
