Tournament Director Madeleine Paolucci writes: “The ladies were so happy to play in the Detroit Invitational for the second straight year at the Country Club of Detroit. Players enjoyed a wonderful day of paddle play with very competitive matches, chilly temperatures with a touch of snow, and a delicious lunch prepared by Chef at the Country Club of Detroit.”

Holly FitzSimons and Mary Plowman held up in second set tiebreaker in the semifinals to get to the finals, with a great match against Emily Mazzola and Annie Rahm.

The APTA thanks Tournament Director Madeleine Paolucci, the Country Club of Detroit for hosting, and all the players for a wonderful event.
